4 years

i hear a word “4 years” from the TV everyday since the olympic is going on. “the olympic atheletes have been putting their 100% effort for four years just for today.” it is easy to say the word, 4 years, but i think 4 years is super long. i recalled that i watched the olympic game in front of the TV in the middletown after the yale summer program, before the frosh orientation. that is four years ago. people go through a lot within 4 years, and they change a lot. swimmers repeated swimming 100m laps for four years. jyudo players has repeated the jyudo match for four years. i just cant believe there are actually people who can put their 100% effort in one thing, just to pursue one goal. it’s just unbelievable.
